The Niteize Camjam XT

Came across this little piece of kit for about $10 at a local hunting / fishing store. No bigger than a chonky carabiner, it lets you tighten rope. You can use it to strap down cargo, make a clothes line, or keep your bag off the ground. I have a “get home” bag that I keep for emergencies and tossed this in it, as it may come in handy one day.

There are 3 versions. The cheapest is plastic and could be useful for a tarp or clothesline or just strapping stuff down. The next is a smaller aluminum version, and then they have a large version of the aluminum one. The plastic ones do not have a recommended weight limit, it’s obviously not a lot. The small aluminum one has a max load rating of 280lbs while the larger one is rated up to 500lbs depending on the rope or cord used with the CamJam XT.
