A collection of little things I often carry. Left to right:
1. Escape tool. Includes strap cutter and glass punch. I keep another bigger version in each door storage compartment.
2. Handcuff Key (Universal). The serial killer who comes for me will never see it coming when I slip my cuffs.
3: Gerber Curve, a freebee that came with another tool. The Gerber Curve has a small blade, several screw drivers and a bottle cap lifter. I offered it to my wife since she insists on being helpless.
4. Gerber Splice, decent scissors on a keychain multitool. I bought it for my wife since I thought the scissors would be the gateway drug to carrying a more substantial multitool, but no. So now I keep multitools in nearly every bag just in case. They come in handy for photography and first aid as well as a day at the range.
5. Gerber Dime, one of the few multitools I own that has tweezers. If you’re like me and frequent home depots or botanical gardens, tweezers come in clutch for removing splinters.
6. Niteize keyclip, I can’t remember it’s real name but it was under $5 and has a little pry bar and bottle opener on it. Could come in handy without jacking up a more expensive knife. More than once in my life I have found myself needing to remove a bottle cap and having to use a seat belt or other improvised method. Now I just keep them everywhere.
7. Niteize Camjam, this is a great little tool for hanging a bundle, tightening a load, etc.
8. (Top) Gerber Prybid – I keep a utility blade in this, serrated. Serrated blades are great for heavy cutting, cardboard to carpet, it can do it all. They stay shape and rip as they cut, plus the blades are disposable and can be swapped to a normal straight blade. I love the nail puller and the pry bar. I have bent more than one knife tip foolishly prying on stuff I shouldn’t have.

Precision Screwdriver Kit
This nifty little box has dozens of bits, a screw driver, a pry tool and tweezers. I paid $16 for it on Temu. While it may not last a long time, I have 4 different precision screwdriver kits of varying sizes. This one is so neat and tiny I carry it in my work bag. This set will get into any small electronic around, and it has torx and security bits to which is great for working on cameras, phones, knives and multitools.
The bits may not be the best steel, I’m not too sure. Usually working with tiny screws, the amount of torque and force is very minimal. My primary concern would be rust, but fortunately the bits were oiled, maybe overly so at the factory.
