Swapped the speed sensors on my van and they were coated in metal shavings. Dodge apparently doesn’t know how to make a transmission that lasts.
I love the grand caravan, it has room to haul, fold flat seats, a larger engine, stow and go cargo hold, power everything, decent mileage, dual zone ac, I’m considering giving it a complete overhaul since I usually drive cars until they’re completely dead. I already replaced the alternator, I might as well do the transmission, water pump, serpentine belt, and just call it good for the next couple years. I’m not sure yet. I think dollars to donuts this might make the most sense. I drive 4,000 to 5,000 miles a year so pretty light wear and tear on this thing after I make these repairs.
