150 Days, No Days Off

I hit the 150 day mark. I can see changes in my body but it’s nothing crazy yet. I thought I’d be totally shredded after 150 days when I started. I’ve been stuck at 190 pounds for months, but in a recomp I think it can be norma to plateau for a long time, especially since you’re eating more to build muscle.

I’ve been taking about 2-6mgs of nicotine from a lozenge for weight loss daily. I’ve taken these before and don’t find them to be addictive at all. Nicotine has neurological benefits, increases vigilance, and alertness, and has a thermogenic affect. It’s also a nootropic, and kills parasites.

Combined with my caffeine, the nicotine should be burning about 200 extra calories per day.

I usually work out for 30min to an hour a day and burn 150-300 calories from that. I try to do 2-3 big walks per week as well.

My diet is pretty clean but I have been snacking. If I cut calories back to about 2,000 a day I bet I’d break the plateau. 🤔
