I have been taking 2-8mgs per day for Parkinson’s prevention, cancer prevention (sus but real research exists), and most importantly weight loss and parasite suppression (we all have parasites, if you have pets, eat raw fruits or veggies, walk barefoot, have ever been bit by mosquitos or other flying insects, eat sushi, or undercooked meat…)
Recently I added raw cacao to my stack, and 15mgs of raw cacao has caffeine and theobromine in it. I’m not sure if I am sensitive to theobromine or what, but the combo of caffeine, nicotine, and theobromine was making me a little overstimulated.
I decided that the health benefits of cacao outweigh that of Nicotine, and theobromine and caffeine also having parasitic suppression benefits I decided to cycle off nicotine.
I had also noticed my intake of nicotine had grown from 2mgs to 4mgs, to 6mgs and finally to 8-10mgs on some days. I noticed the creep building. So I decided that I needed a break.
I’ve used nicotine off and on for a few years and any time I skipped days or quit it was literally nothing, but this time I crossed the 8-10mg range. The first symptom I noticed was massive boredom. It’s like my dopamine circuits are cooked. I feel bored no matter what I’m doing.
The second symptom is a very mild headache, nothing like the headache I get when I pull off of caffeine.
I’m going to cycle off for a few weeks and then I may resume but I’m going to make sure to stay below the 4mg limit.
I’m probably going to dose myself with anti-parasitic drugs every 3 months anyway. Even sub clinical parasite infections can cause anxiety, depression, behavioral changes, etc. modern parasitic drugs will clear major infestations but we are constantly infected with parasites from eating anything that isn’t cooked. One thing I insist on is my right to forage on my garden and sure I do dust off my fruit, but I don’t use pesticides so I don’t wash it before eating it.
