I have not linked this blog to any other projects for you to explore using this link, and I have no idea where that link goes if you click it.

I have a home lab!

After some configuring, I can now reach web apps hosted on a low powered raspberry pi computer on my network from the outside internet.

I did most of it with the help of Perplexity.ai, which makes it easy to find information about very specific problems.

After about 6 hours of work I have the server set up, the infrastructure deployed, and apps being hosted. Each apps configuration has been a little finicky but hopefully I get better at understanding the variables when configuring each app.

So far I’ve installed a recipe manager, a wiki, and a password manager. I’m going to self host a link in bio tool, a data dashboard a friend map, and even a micro blog.

I’m learning a lot about docker and containers, it’s been fun and challenging, and fits into my interests with privacy, and staying up to date with technical skills that I consider to be tactical. This includes, using encryption, obfuscating internet activity and identity, and creating hidden communications networks.

Hopefully I’ll have more to share soon, until then, stay dangerous ✌🏻
