Homeless guy high on something first tries to break into a Starbucks – after failing he walks down the street and sees an open garage and begins stabbing two women. Both are in serious but stable condition.

Cops were already on their way to the Starbucks and located the man while he was attempting to murder both women, and they were able to shoot him to death before he succeeded.

These women were not armed and luckily due to this guy’s previous attempt police were in the area and were able to intervene. They were not able to call 911 themselves, and they essentially just got lucky, if you consider getting stabbed multiple times but not dying any form of luck.

You just never know who is wandering around and what substances they’ve snorted that morning, had this man found them prior to the Starbucks attempt they’d have been cold before anyone ever was the wiser.
